Types of On-Campus Positions

Part-Time positions:

  • Available to all eligible students enrolled in at least half-time status.
  • Students must NOT work more than 19 hours* in any work week.

Work Study positions:

  • Available to students who have been awarded Federal or State work study at TAMUK (FAFSA required) and enrolled at least half-time. If you have been offered aid, log in to Blue & Gold Connection to view your financial aid awards.
  • A print out of your Blue & Gold financial aid screen showing your Work Study award MUST be provided when applying for a work study position.
  • Students must NOT work more than 19 hours* in any work week.

* Students workers are not allowed to work more than 19 hours in any work week. International students who work more than 19 hours per work week may be in violation of their visa status.

Ability to work under stress and pressing timelines; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. 2834 Farm Student Worker Farm Farm/Ranch Operations: individual will be help farm specialist and livestock herdsman with farm maintenance and animal husbandry. Task vary depending on farm needs.
2824 Graphic Designer Athletics Office tasks may include designing splash pages, game program covers, record book covers, archiving photos and other duties as assigned. During home games tasks might include playing music, running scoreboard, spotting/inputting statistics, updating social media, controlling the live video stream cameras and the streaming computer for events.  Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience working with Adobe photoshop and InDesign as well as video editing programs. Able to work some nights and weekends. Previous experience working in athletic communications environment is highly desirable
2730 Student Clerk Office of Admission Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry, answering telephones, filing, copying and scanning. Provides overall support for the Office of Admission. Must be outgoing, courteous and professional when interacting with students, parents and staff. May also assist with campus tours. Must be reliable. (If hired, original social security card will be needed, copies will not be accepted.)  WORK STUDY ONLY!
