Crescent Moon, Andromeda to be Viewed at Astronomy Open House

The public is invited to an astronomy viewing at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Observatory at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 11.  

The free viewing is in the observatory on the third floor of Hill Hall, located east of the Memorial Student Union Building. Parking is available in the lot next to Jones Auditorium and Manning Hall, on the corner of Santa Gertrudis and Armstrong, and along Santa Gertrudis.  

Weather permitting, featured objects for this viewing will include the crescent moon, Uranus and M31 Andromeda.       

In the event of poor viewing conditions or inclement weather, there will be a video screened downstairs in room 119 of Hill Hall.
