When music joins theatre, wonderful things happen. The final production of the 2015-16 theatre season at Texas A&M University-Kingsville brings together the theatre program and the Opera Workshop for Company, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 22-23, with a matinee at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 24. All performances are in the Little Theatre and admission is $5.

Company follows confirmed bachelor, Robert, on the night of his 35th birthday as he contemplates his unmarried state. Over the course of a series of dinners, drinks and even a wedding, his married friends explain the pros and cons of taking a spouse. The habitually single Robert is forced to question his adamant retention of bachelorhood during a hilarious array of interactions.
