Astronomy Viewing to Include Venus, Mars, Saturn

The Department of Physics and Geosciences presents the first public viewing from the Hill Hall Observatory for the 2016-2017 school year on Monday, Oct. 10.

Venus, Mars, Saturn and the first quarter moon are the featured objects to be viewed from the 16" telescope, weather permitting, starting at 7 p.m.

In addition, geology will be presenting two 45-minute programs from the award-winning TV series How the Earth Was Made, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in room 119 of Hill Hall.

This event coincides with the beginning of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville geology group's Earth Week event.
