Texas A&M-Kingsville named 17th best master's degree in electrical engineering

Texas A&M University-Kingsville’s electrical engineering graduate program has been ranked 17th in the nation according to CollegeChoice.net.

The program at Javelina Nation is only one of two from the state of Texas included in the 35-school list with Texas Tech University coming in at 23rd. The top three programs in the nation are at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University and Cornell University.

The staff at CollegeChoice.net looked at factors including reputation, student retention, graduates’ salaries and tuition rates when making their ranking decisions. They got their figures and information from university and college websites, PayScale and nationally recognized U.S. News and World Report and The National Center for Education Statistics.
