CPT David Perez

CPT David B. Perez is from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He commissioned through the ROTC program at the Pennsylvania State University in 2011 as a Quartermaster officer with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics.

 CPT Perez was assigned to the 524th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 45th Sustainment Brigade at Schofield Barracks, HI. He served as a Field Services Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Battalion S4. He also deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a Battle Captain.

 CPT Perez was subsequently assigned to the 101st Sustainment Brigade at Fort Campbell, KY. He served as the Petroleum Operations Officer and he commanded the 594th Transportation Company. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at Texas A&M University – Kingsville.

 His military schools include the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, Sling Load Inspector Certification Course, Unit Movement Officers Course, Air Load Planners Course, Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, Petroleum and Water Officer Course, and Air Assault School.

 His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (1 Oak Leaf Cluster), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, and the Air Assault Badge.

 CPT Perez is married to Camila Roces Perez and together they have four children: Catalina (6), Oriana (5), Francesca (3), and Ruben (5 mo).
