Center for Academic Technology strives to provide a high-level training and support

for Faculty:

• To enable creating exciting and engaging online and hybrid courses
• To ensure the quality of students’ virtual experiences
• To promote collaborative approach to learning and establishing online communities of practice
• To fulfill professional development needs of the Faculty in the areas of technology-enabled learning

For Staff:

• To develop skills and technical competencies needed for successfully utilizing communication tools and educational technologies where applicable
• To help ensure the quality of students’ TAMUK experiences

For Students:

• To help familiarize themselves with academic technology used in TAMUK
• To develop skills and technical competencies needed for successfully navigating online and hybrid courses and utilizing educational technologies
