Vanessa, a native to Kingsville, started with the CKWRI South Texas Natives program September of 2013 before transitioning into her role as Business Administrator for the Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture and Natural Resources in March of 2017.  Vanessa’s role includes monitoring financial activity, developing academic unit budget projections, and serves as departmental resource on all administrative and account management matters.  In addition, she monitors course scheduling, serves as a resource to principle investigators for grant development, and provides administrative support to the college.  Vanessa received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Outside of the office, Vanessa spends her time with family and friends enjoying outdoor activities.
