Workday


The Texas A&M System uses a cloud-based human resources and payroll system called Workday. Employees can access their Workday account through SSO.

If you are locked out of SSO, please contact the Office of Human Resources or your HR liaison.

Please consult the appropriate link for assistance. You can also schedule a training session with a member of the Office of Human Resources by completing this form.
For guidance on a specific function or inbox task, please type the business process' title in the Workday Help search bar.
  • Click Workday Help below
  • Type "edit position restrictions"
  • Click the first link titled "Edit Position Restrictions"
  • A word document will download to your computer. This will explain step by step how to perform this business process. If you have further questions after consulting job aids such as this one, please contact the Office of Human Resources or your HR liaison.

Faculty and staff at Texas A&M University - Kingsville should annually review and update their personal and employment information via Workday. Your participation in keeping your information up-to-date ensures the university has accurate information for the online A&M directory, emergency contacts, and demographics for federal, state and university compliance reporting.

Instructions to Update Personal & Employment Information:

  1. Login in at sso.tamus.edu and choose Workday.
  2. Click on your picture (or the cloud icon) in the upper right corner, then click View Profile.
  3. From the Profile, select Contact and review the information in the Contact and Emergency Contact tabs.
  4. To make changes, select Edit, make your changes, then click Submit to have the changes take effect.
