Shane Creel

In his daily endeavors he provides direction in matters concerning all facets of campus insurance & risk assessments, Environmental Health & Safety, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, and Campus Programs for Minors.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in April 1986. Through hard work, determination and continuing education he advanced to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 1994 and was commissioned as an Ensign in 1999. Dr. Creel served honorably, throughout the world, at the pleasure of the President of the United States for 22 years and retired in 2008 with the rank of Lieutenant at which time he was commissioned as an Admiral within the Texas Navy by Governor Rick Perry.

Dr. Creel earned his A.S. (Social Psychology) from Park University in 1994; B.S. (Psychology) from The University of the State of New York-Albany in 1995; M.S. (Counseling) from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1995; Ph.D. (Organizational Leadership) from Capella University in 2007. He is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional and a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
