What We Offer

Intramural Sports

At TAMUK Rec Sports, you can dive into the thrilling world of competitive Intramural Sports. From soccer and basketball to flag football, volleyball, and more - our diverse range of intramural sports caters to all interests and skill levels.

Club Sports

TAMUK Rec Sports is proud to offer Club Sports. These student-led organizations provide members the opportunity to engage in and promote physical activity while increasing individual and team skills.

Fitness

With TAMUK Rec Sports, you can turn your fitness goals into reality. We offer classes, led by certified instructors, like heart-pounding cardio workouts and relaxing or strength-building yoga. It's our commitment to provide a variety of workouts to suit every taste and fitness level.

Student Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center is the home of TAMUK Rec Sports. Our 30,000 sq. ft. facility offers two full-size multipurpose basketball courts, a cardio fitness and free-weight room, a 1/12 mile indoor elevated jogging track, and so much more!

Rec Sports Outdoor Complex

You can find our 17-acre Rec Sports Outdoor Complex on the west side of campus, equipped with multiple grass fields, Softball Fields, NCAA Tennis Courts, Sand Volleyball Courts, a Cricket Pitch, and more.

Javelina Gaming Lounge

Located on the first floor of the Jernigan Library, the Javelina Gaming Lounge offers a fun and exciting gaming environment for students. Come on over to play the latest and greatest games on Xbox, PlayStation, or PC, or join our watch parties for major sporting events.

TAMUK Bowling Alley

If you're a TAMUK Student or have a Rec Sports Membership, then you have access to the only bowling alley in Kingsville. Come visit the TAMUK Bowling Alley for an afternoon of fun!

Outdoor Adventures

TAMUK Recreational Sports has partnered with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to offer Outdoor Adventure opportunities for TAMUK Students. Click here for more information on trip and clinic options.
