Brazilian double bassist Gabriel Preuss received a Masters Degree in Performance from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and both Performance and Music Education degrees from the University of Brasília, Brazil.   

Preuss has performed in many countries as both a jazz and classical bass player. In 2012, he released his first álbum as a composer called Outros Ventos in partnership with Paulo Ohana. 

Currently, Gabriel performs with the Victoria Symphony, Valley Symphony, and Kingsville Symphony Orchestra.
