Students may begin applying for Post-Completion OPT up to 90 days before their program completion date.

  **Please note that Program Completion Date may be different from "graduation date."**

Students who are graduating and plan to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) Upon Completion of Studies must attend an OPT workshop to learn more about applying for OPT. Upon completion of the required online workshop, students can submit their documents to apply, along with the certification proving they have attended the required online workshop. 

**Please note: students must attend one of the workshops listed below or set up a mandatory appointment with an OPT Advisor before they can receive their OPT recommendation I-20.**

It is highly recommended that students complete the training early as it can take 3-5 months for USCIS to process applications.
