Global Program Workshops

The first step towards participating in a global program through TAMUK's Office of Global Engagement is to attend one of our global program workshops to help guide you through the process of choosing and applying to a global experience. 

Global Programs 101 Workshop - Study Abroad 

Learn all about the variety of international programs offered to students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville for a study abroad experience. This one-hour information session provides details regarding both international faculty-led and exchange programs including benefits, finances, how to choose a program, and the application process. 

Global Programs 102 Workshop - Study Away

Join the Office of Global Engagement to learn more about program opportunities available in the United States such as the National Student Exchange (NSE) and the Global Citizens program. During this session, students will receive information regarding benefits of attending a domestic program, how to choose the best program option, and review the application process.    

Financing Your Global Program Workshop

After attending one of the Global Program Workshops listed above, students are highly encouraged to attend this financial workshop to get a jumpstart on the planning process for their upcoming global experience. This interactive session helps students gain a better understanding of the costs associated with their global program and the funding options available to help support their efforts.
