Presidential Ambassadors Application
The Presidential Ambassadors is a group of distinguished individuals that provide a variety of services throughout campus, especially in assisting with any presidential events. As a presidential ambassador, you must be willing to devote your time and talent while maintaining a positive attitude to assist the President and partake in various functions throughout the academic year. Campus events to consider as an ambassador are Commencement Ceremonies, Hoggie Days, Welcome Week, Ring Ceremony, Career Fairs, Kingsville Symphonic Orchestra, Banquets, etc. Furthermore, each Ambassador must maintain a G.P.A. of a 3.0 or higher to retain a position in this organization. NOTE: $500/Semester Scholarship based position
Ambassador Request Form
The presidential ambassadors are active on campus and in the community and strive to accommodate requests to participate in events. However, scheduling conflicts may prevent the availability of ambassadors in accepting every request.
To request ambassadors for your event, please fill out the form and provide specific details regarding your event. Incomplete requests cannot be considered. Requests should be made well in advance of your event to ensure the best chance of securing the most availability of ambassadors. It is recommended that requests are completed two weeks ahead of time.
I made a request. What happens next?
You will receive a response via email when your request is accepted, and your event will be placed on the ambassador’s calendar along with the details you provided on the request form. If any event details change, you must inform the Office of the President.Please note: Ambassador attire will be determined depending on the details of the event. Also, event set up and tear down do not constitute as ambassador duties.
