Budwood Certification ProgramAffiliated with the esteemed Department of Agriculture, Agribusiness, and Environmental Sciences at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the Citrus Center stands as a hub of academic excellence. Offering Master's degrees in Plant & Soil Science, the Center provides students with unparalleled opportunities to immerse themselves in cutting-edge research and practical applications within the citrus industry.

In addition to its Master's program, the Citrus Center collaborates closely with the Department of Horticultural Science at Texas A&M University in College Station to offer a cooperative Ph.D. program. This partnership enhances the depth and breadth of research opportunities available to students, fostering a dynamic academic environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.

Graduate students at the Citrus Center have access to a diverse array of research areas, including Entomology, Plant Pathology, Breeding, Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, Soil Science, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Science and Nutriceuticals/Functional Foods.
