Past Research: Development of Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometry (FT-MS) for high molecular weight analysis.

Current Research: Analysis of inter-national pharmaceuticals for quantity and quality of active ingredient. Identification of organic compounds in South Texas Mesquite wood. Development of analytical methods for the determination of added products to street drugs. Active in outreach programs to encourage students to study science.

Hobbies: Flying airplanes, flight instructor, and commercial pilot.
