Requirements for Admission
Applicants to the Texas A&M University-Kingsville College of Business Administration are automatically evaluated for transfer credit based on the transcripts they submit as a part of the admissions process. The university may exempt a student from certain proficiency courses in order to avoid unnecessary duplication. Course exemptions are considered on the basis of an appropriate group of closely-related college level courses completed with a grade of “C” or higher or by demonstrating competency through an approved foundation module.
The following prerequisite foundation courses need to be completed prior to starting MBA coursework for those applicants who have not previously completed these courses during their undergraduate coursework.
Principles of Accounting I (ACCT 2301)
Principles of Accounting II (ACCT 2302)
Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 2301)
Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 2302)
Business Finance (FINC 3321)
To help you decide if you need to complete any of these courses, contact the MBA Program Director at 361-593-4022 or MBA@tamuk.edu.
