Message from the Interim Dean

Warmest Greetings! Welcome to the College of Education and Human Performance. We proudly serve as the first teacher college in South Texas, impacting public education across the world. We are committed to diverse, quality programs and transformational opportunities for our students. The College of Education and Human Performance prepares candidates for roles that include PK-12 teachers, school principals, school superintendents, professors for higher education, professional counselors, sports management professionals, military science professionals, and experts within the field of health and kinesiology. Our ROTC program develops students to serve proudly and become officers in the United States Army. Our Early Childhood Center provide our youngest learners an environment that is academically stimulating, developmentally appropriate, and learner-centered. The College of Education and Human Performance is changing lives every day in every classroom, one course, one semester, one certification, one degree at a time. It is an honor to serve as the Interim Dean of the College of Education and Human Performance.
