Born and raised in Kingsville, Texas, Denise is currently enrolled at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, where she is pursuing a degree in Criminology. She has been with the university since 2011, beginning in the Business Office and later moving to the Department of Health & Kinesiology, where she served as Administrative Assistant for 11 years. In 2024, Denise joined the Dual Enrollment program as Advisor.

Denise is a Kingsville native and a graduate of H. M. King High School.
