2026 Homecoming Concert featuring Randy Rogers Band
Know Before You Go
We are excited to welcome Javelina Nation to the Homecoming Concert! Review the information below before arriving so you know where to park, what to bring, where to enter, and what to expect throughout the evening.
Parking Opens: 6:00 PM
Doors Open & Timothy Noel: 7:00 PM
Los Arias: 7:30 PM
Randy Rogers Band: 9:00 PM
Location: TAMUK Rec Sports Outdoor Complex
Guests are encouraged to arrive early. Parking areas closest to the concert are expected to fill quickly, and some guests should plan for a short walk from surrounding campus parking lots.
There will be no re-entry after exiting the concert.
General Admission parking will begin in Parking Lot K. This lot is expected to fill quickly.
Once Lot K reaches capacity, guests may use other open campus parking lots surrounding the concert area, including:

Student Recreation Center

Rhode Hall
-
Lewis Hall
-
Other available campus lots not reserved for the event
Street parking is permitted only in areas clearly designated for street parking on campus.
Please do not park in areas marked or staffed as VIP parking.
Seale Street from Corral Avenue to Avenue B will be reserved for VIP parking.
VIP guests must show their VIP ticket to the parking attendant upon entering Seale Street. Guests will then continue to a second attendant for parking instructions.
Vehicles will park diagonally with the front of the vehicle facing the sidewalk. Please park as close to the neighboring vehicle as safely possible so we can accommodate the maximum number of VIP vehicles.
Long-bed trucks, extended-length vehicles, and VIP overflow parking will be directed to:

West Avenue C

Physical Plant parking lot
-
Student Health & Wellness parking lot
These areas will also be reserved for VIP parking.
All guests will go through security screening before entering the concert. Metal detectors will be used, and security personnel may inspect all permitted bags, blankets, chairs, and personal belongings.
Clear bags should not exceed approximately 12" x 6" x 12". Small clutch-style or crossbody purses may also be permitted. All bags and purses are subject to search.
Please allow additional time for security screening.
University Police Department officers and hired security personnel will be stationed at the entrances and throughout the concert area. Guests who become disruptive or engage in unacceptable behavior may be asked to leave the event.
The following items are not permitted inside the concert:

Weapons of any kind

Vapes, tobacco products, drugs, or related paraphernalia

Outside alcohol

Outside food
-
Outside drinks

Posters, banners, or noise makers

Drones or cameras
-
Backpacks or coolers
Folding lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome.
Chairs must be removed from carrying bags before reaching security so they can be inspected.
Blankets must also be unfolded and available for inspection at the entrance.
General Admission guests will enter through the main entrance of the Student Recreation Center complex.
Please have your ticket ready to scan when you reach the entrance.
The student entrance will be located immediately east of the General Admission entrance.
Students who have already received a concert wristband must present:

TAMUK student ID
Students who did not pick up a wristband must present their Event Pass through TAMUK Involved at the entrance.
VIP guests will enter through the tennis courts entrance.
Upon arrival:

Present your VIP ticket for scanning.

Proceed to the VIP area.

Provide your name to the VIP attendant.

Receive your VIP wristband and exclusive Homecoming shirt.
VIP seating is first come, first served unless reserved through a sponsorship. Seating is not guaranteed for every VIP guest.
The VIP experience includes:

Standing and concert-viewing areas

Dance floor
-
Photo booth with unlimited prints

Cooling tent station
-
Private VIP beverage service for purchase
VIP beverage selections will include spirits, mixers, beer, and margaritas.
Alumni will use the General Admission entrance at the main entrance of the Student Recreation Center complex.
After scanning your admission ticket, proceed to the Alumni Tent and provide your name to the alumni attendant to receive your alumni wristband and Homecoming shirt.
The Alumni Tent is reserved for guests wearing an alumni wristband. Alumni are welcome to bring lawn chairs and relax, visit, and network under the tent.
Alumni may purchase beverages from the VIP bar, but an alumni wristband does not provide access to the VIP concert area.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Guests purchasing alcohol should plan to bring cash. Credit cards may be accepted at some alcohol points of sale, but card availability is not guaranteed.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
In addition to live music, guests can:

Capture memories at the 360-degree photo booth

Shop select businesses and organizations along Vendor Row

Enjoy food and beverages from on-site vendors
-
Visit with fellow Javelinas throughout the concert grounds
All guests may use the restrooms inside the Rec Sports Outdoor Complex. Additional portable restrooms will be located immediately outside these restrooms to help with demand.
VIP and Alumni guests will also have access to two additional portable restrooms located within reasonable walking distance behind the VIP and Alumni sections.
Guests requiring ADA accommodations may be dropped off at the front General Admission entrance.
After drop-off, the vehicle must be moved to an approved parking area.

The concert is scheduled as an outdoor event.
If severe weather, including significant rain, thunder, or lightning, requires the outdoor concert to be relocated, the event will move to Jones Auditorium.
Due to the limited capacity of the indoor venue, only current TAMUK students will be permitted to attend the relocated concert.
Although concert tickets are non-refundable, ticket refunds will be issued to paid guests if this specific severe-weather relocation occurs.
