College of Business Administration's Center for Negotiation schedules seminars

The Center for Negotiation in the College of Business Administration at Texas A&M University-Kingsville has scheduled seminars for the spring semester. 

All seminars will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce. Seminars and are $25 each. The deadline to sign up is three days prior to each event.

A workshop on Crisis Management Using Negotiation Techniques will be held Tuesday, Feb. 28. Several negotiation techniques designed to resolve a dispute or create a mutually beneficial deal can help prevent or manage an organizational crisis. The first half of the seminar will discuss these methods and processes, while the second half will engage in practicing how to apply them.

Negotiating Online will be held Tuesday, March 28. This seminar will provide strategic tips and tactics and help improve online negotiating ability.

The final seminar for the semester is Reading Nonverbal Cues and Clues: Body Language and Negotiating Tuesday, April 25. Participants will learn not only what nonverbal clues and cues to look for in others, but also how to be sure the right signals are being sent.
