  3. If the person you need is unavailable, please ask for their email address and set up a time to meet via phone or remotely via Microsoft Teams or Blackboard Collaborate.

When possible, please call or email instead of coming in person.  Most processes and forms are now available digitally.  

Important Dates

All final requirements are due by their respective dates and times to the Office of Research and Graduate Studies. No extensions

Fall 2020

  • Monday August 31, 2020 at Close of Business 5:00 PM CST.

    • Blue & Gold online application closes for December commencement

  • Thursday, November 19, 2020, Close of Business 5:00 PM CST.

    • Thesis and Dissertation initial submissions and final requirements. 

  • Thursday, December 10, 2020, Close of Business 5:00 PM CST.

    • December Proposals for Masters of Thesis and Dissertation

    • Masters 

      • Courses Only and, 

      • Research Project

**Colleges and Departments often have earlier dates for internal review before submissions can be brought to the Office of Research and Graduate Studies.  Check with your Graduate Coordinator for more information.**

**Email drafts of signature templates to the Office of Research and Graduate Studies BEFORE getting signatures in black ink.  Original signatures are still required for this page.  If your committee members are working remotely, or you are remote, they will need to be mailed the signature page to sign, or make arrangements for a minimal contact meeting to sign it, one by one or together, and have them mail it back or submit to Graduate Studies.**

Final Requirement Online Resources

SOCIAL DISTANCING NOTE: Hardcopies and USBs are NOT required.
We will review the official Word file uploaded to the link below.

The only hardcopy item required is the signature page, which the advisory committee can submit.
All other thesis and dissertation forms are below and route electronically to all needing to sign, and then the final copy comes to Graduate Studies.  
Scans of these forms, signed, are also accepted.   

The Official Signature Page for the Thesis or Dissertation Manuscript is still being required as an original document, signed in black ink.
