Congratulations and welcome to Javelina Nation!
Now that you are officially part of the Javelina Nation, keep in mind you will be using JNET to link to the University community.
If you have not already done so, please Join JNet to register for New Student Orientation , apply for and accept your Javelina Scholarships , accept your financial aid , register for classes during New Student Orientation, apply for on-campus housing, pay your tuition and fees or sign up for a student payment plan, and complete many other important enrollment tasks including the following details.
You may log in to JNET using your Student ID or username (for example, KUABC123) to view your acceptance letter to confirm your correct major before you come to New Student Orientation. If you have questions, you can speak with advisors during your orientation to discuss the best academic path for you.
If you are admitted as a Texas Resident for Tuition Purposes, you will be eligible for in-state tuition.
If you have been admitted as a nonresident and you believe you are eligible to Texas Residency for tuition purposes, please visit the residency information located on our website.
All incoming first time in college and transfer students are required to attend New Student Orientation to register for classes before the first semester. Visit New Student Orientation for more information on new student orientation sessions available to you.
All students are required to submit proof of their bacterial meningitis vaccination record or approved exemption 10 days prior to the first day of classes to Student Health and Wellness.
We ask that you submit your valid vaccination records, affidavits or certificates to Student Health and Wellness by mail, in person or by fax prior to your new student orientation session. Please include your Applicant ID (for example, K00123456) and a current phone number on the record for the nurse to verify your information on file. Emailed vaccination records will not be accepted.

First time in college students with fewer than 30 hours are required to live on campus unless they have been granted an exemption. To live on campus, please complete the online Housing Application by logging into JNET using your Student ID (for example, KUABC123) and your password.
If you decide to live off campus, read the information provided on the Housing Frequently Asked Questions website to see if you qualify to live off campus. If you do, please complete the Residence Life Housing Exception Request and follow the steps to request a waiver.
All students are welcome to apply for housing but only first time in college students are required to live on campus.
Log in to JNET using your Student ID (for example, KUABC123) and password.
- Choose the Paying for College tab to select Financial Aid Status.
- To see your award, choose Award and your Award for Aid Year.
- Select the year you received aid for in the drop down box and choose submit.
- Choose the award offer you wish to apply to your upcoming semester.
- You may review your award package and accept or reject the offers on this page.
- Grants will automatically be disbursed IF you have accepted the terms and conditions.
- If you have been awarded a Direct Student Loan you will need to complete loan entrance counseling and your master promissory note.

You will accept your scholarship through the Javelina Scholarships portal and JNET using your Student ID or username (for example, KUABC123) and password.
If you have not received your Student ID or username (for example, KUABC123), you may access it by going to the University Password Update Page.
- Next to Applicant/Faculty/Staff ID enter your Applicant ID number (for example, K12345678) that was included in the email correspondence from Texas A&M-Kingsville. (If you do not know your Applicant ID number, log on to your Blue & Gold Connection to retrieve it using your Social Security Number.)
- You will use your birth date using six digits with no dashes (mmddyy). For example, if your birth date is December 15, 2001, you will use 121501. Then, when you are ready, choose the “Next” button to continue.
- In the next screen, you will verify your identity using the last four digits of your Social Security Number or the first two letters of your last name.
- You will see your Student ID or University username (for example, KUABC123) and University email address. You will continue to use your Student ID or Username to log in to JNET throughout your time at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Once you have your Student ID or University username, you can use it to create your password.
You will use your Student ID or University username (for example, KUABC123) and password to access Javelina Scholarships to accept your scholarship and apply for additional scholarship opportunities.

Once you are enrolled for your first semester and have received your university bill, please log into JNET to pay for your tuition and fees or set up your student payment plan.
- Choose Paying for College and then My Account
- Choose Enroll in Payment Plan or Make Payment
- If you want to enroll in a Student Payment Plan, choose Enroll Now to set up your payment
- Select Term for which the payment plan is needed
- Select the desired payment plan then select Payment Plan
- Select Continue
- Choose Display Payment Schedule
- Select
- No, I do not wish to schedule installment payments (if you do not want the payments to automatically deduct from your bank account)
- Yes, I wish to schedule installment payments (if you want to automatically deduct the payments from your bank account)
- Select I Agree, then Continue
- The next window will have a message that displays whether you have successfully enrolled in a payment plan.
Request that your official high school and/or college transcripts be be sent to the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Admission Office by January 3.
If we do not receive your final high school transcripts or final college transcripts by January 3, a hold will be placed on your account which will prevent you from registering for the upcoming semester classes.
