Student Payment Plans 2024
PAYMENT PLAN ENROLLMENT
The down payment used to enroll in a payment plan is calculated by percentage (%) of the semester balance rather than a flat amount. Any funds applied to the student account will no longer act as the down payment.
TIP: If you are pending aid, you may wait closer to the payment deadline to determine if you still need a payment plan or let the applied aid lessen the amount of personal funds needed to enroll.
NOTE: Any previous semester balance must be below $500 to enroll in a new payment plan. Previous balances will not be included into the current term payment plan but any payments made may automatically be applied to previous balances by priority until balance is satisfied. In such cases, the current term payment plan will recalculate to adjust installments accordingly.
- Login to JNET using your Student ID (KUABC123)
- Choose Paying for College tab and then under My Account, click on the credit card next to the Account Balance.
- In another window, you may receive a message to choose the link should MoneyConnect not load.
- In MoneyConnect, the home screen overview page will display.
- Payment plan information can be found in the middle section of the home screen or as a link on the left-hand side of the webpage.
- When available, select the link that allows you to view payment plan options.
- All available plans for the student will display for review. Scroll through plans using the arrow buttons located on the page.
- For additional details about each plan, scroll down through the plan information.
- Once you find a plan that meets your budget needs, select the Enroll in Plan option located at the bottom of the page.
- Enrollment into the plan will be completed in 4 steps:
- Step 1 Terms and Conditions-must be acknowledged and signed.
- Step 2 Payment Requirement-enrollment fee and down payment.
- Step 3 Payment Method-select appropriate method type
- Step 4 Review and Completion- authorization to complete payment
- At any time that cancel is selected, you will not complete your enrollment into a plan.
- Once enrollment is completed, students will see the details of the plan on the home page of the student’s MoneyConnect account.
- $30 Setup fee-due at the time of enrollment
- Balance broken down into four installments, with 1st installment of 15% due at the time of enrollment.
- Remaining three installments due:
- 30% September 6
- 30% October 4
- 25% November 1
- IF enrolling into plan after the installment’s bill date, down payment percentage and installment percentages are subject to change accordingly.
- $50 Late Payment fee-any late installment
- Balance will include all charges
- Financial Aid will not count as a down payment or pay any additional installments. However, the aid will be used to lower the term balance in the payment plan.
