Amount: $1,000 to $4,000

The University funds our academically competitive scholarship for transfer students. The Transfer Excellence scholarship is eligible for renewal as long as students meet the academic expectations and full-time enrollment each semester. In order to be eligible for this university-funded scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

• Transfer students must apply for admission to Texas A&M University-Kingsville
• Incoming students must complete the application for admission, including the submission of all supporting documentation to be considered (application, application fee, official transcripts, and test scores).
• Transfer GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Priority date: January 15

For out-of-state residents, this academically competitive scholarship will qualify the student to pay in-state tuition during the semesters in which the scholarship is disbursed.
