Javelina Card

Terms and Conditions


The Javelina Card is the property of Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and it must be surrendered upon request. Students must carry their Javelina Express Card at all times for proper identification.

The Javelina Card system was developed with the purpose of providing a medium to gain access to services, benefits, and secured facilities on campus. The program is not an originator of data, especially customer numbers (a.k.a banner number or K#). All customer numbers for students and staff must be provided via the Banner System. Each cardholder must help maintain the integrity of the system by immediately reporting lost/stolen cards to the TAMUK ID Center (361-593-2243).

Students registered for the current semester are eligible for a Javelina Express Card.

  • No Hats, sunglasses, or other objects will be allowed in your picture
  • This is your official University ID card.
  • Customers are only entitles to one active card.

Replacement Fee

Your first Javelina Card is provided free of charge. If you lose you card, you will be charged a $10.00 non-refundable replacement fee.

Lost and Found Cards

If you find a lost Javelina Card, please return it to the TAMUK ID Center. If you lose you card please report it lost by contacting the TAMUK ID Center (361-593-2243). Once reported, the ID Card will be deactivated until the rightful owner obtains their card or will be held for One semester then destroyed.

Card Abuse

You are responsible for the use of your ID card. Don't lend your card to others. Unauthorized use or use by a party other than the person identified on the ID, as well as tampering or alteration, will warrant confiscation and possible disciplinary action by the University.
