Who I Am
I'm a second-generation Javelina who bleeds Blue and Gold. I earned my bachelor's degree in communication-speech from Texas A&M University-Kingsville where I spent countless hours in the radio booth of KTAI-FM.
After college, I started my work in the public relations and social media worlds, working for various firms, companies, and industries. Learning new communication networks and platforms is entertaining and a passion of mine.
I was honored to return to my alma mater in 2019 to work in the Office of Marketing & Communications.
My husband and I live in Kingsville with our three sons and three "purr-fect" cats. I dedicate my free time to the Santa Gertrudis PTO, Boy Scout Troop 186 and Pack 140, U.S.S. Kingsville Commissioning Committee, and Rotary Club of Kingsville.
What I Do
As the Assistant Director, I work with our talented team of professionals to tell our Javelina story to the outside world. I work directly with the paid placement, promotions, and flagship social media accounts of our University.
My Texas A&M-Kingsville Story
My parents met in Rhode Hall in the 1970s and made Kingsville their home. When I started my college journey, I fell in love with radio, enjoyed the TV studio, worked for The South Texan, and served on various boards and organizations. I'm a huge fan of Javelina Football and am proud to be a part of the Javelina Family.
