Family Weekend FAQ


Tickets

Do TAMUK Students need to purchase tickets for Family Weekend?

  • No! TAMUK students don't need to pay for tickets. They get into Family Weekend for free.

Do I need to buy my tickets before Family Weekend?

  • Pre-Registration is recommended to make the check-in process faster!
  • Tickets are required for the weekend.

Can I buy tickets when I check-in?

  • Yes! Walk-ins are welcome!

When and where can I buy tickets?

  • Tickets on sale through September 28th

Family Weekend Registration

What is included with my ticket?

  • Tickets get you into all Family Weekend events, including the football game, except for Bingo.
  • Bingo tickets are not included and each bingo card is $2.

*The registration link will expire September 26 at 11:59 pm and tickets can only be purchased by walking in and paying on site on September 27 and 28. Registration is CARD ONLY (no cash purchase).


Bingo

How many sessions are there for Bingo?

  • There are 4 sessions! Two sessions are at 11 am and two sessions are at 1 pm.

How much are bingo tickets?

  • Registration required
  • $2 per Bingo Ticket

Where can I buy Bingo tickets?

  • Bingo tickets are sold online.

*The registration link will expire September 26 at 11:59 pm and tickets can only be purchased by walking in and paying on site on September 27 and 28. Registration is CARD ONLY (no cash purchase).

Can I buy bingo tickets at the door?

  • You can, but bingo tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis so it is not guaranteed that there will be room left.
  • If you don't get a ticket in time, don't worry! There are many other events to attend during Family Weekend!

Is Bingo the only event during Family Weekend that is extra?

  • Yes! The only event during Family Weekend that requires extra purchase is Bingo tickets.

Where do I check in?

  • Check in is in the courtyard of the Memorial Student Union Building on Friday and Saturday of Family Weekend.
  • Friday check in is from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
  • Saturday check in is from 9 am to 5 pm.

Do I have to check in both days?

  • No! Once you've checked in and received your wristbands and welcome bag, you don't have to check in again.

Where are all of the events held?

  • The bulk of the events are held at the Memorial Student Union Building, but there's more going on around campus, so check out the event schedule to see when and where events are taking place.

Parking Info

Are there spots that I cannot park in during Family Weekend?

  • There is no parking in handicap or 24 hour reserved spots around campus.

Do I have to pay to park?

  • Football stadium parking on Saturday only is $5 paid as you enter the lot.
