Stacy A. Scarborough


Academic Advisor II, Animal Science

Stacy A. Scarborough serves as an Academic Advisor for the Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, as well as the College of Arts & Sciences. Prior to this role, Stacy worked as an Academic Success Coach with the Office of Student Access, contributing to federally funded TRIO programs aimed at preparing local high school students for college.

 Originally hailing from Realitos, TX, Stacy graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) in 2013 with a B.A. in Theatre and Communications. Currently pursuing her Master of Science in Education at TAMUK, Stacy is set to graduate in December 2024. During her undergraduate years, she actively participated in campus groups such as PEP Talk, Gamerz, Anime Club, Alpha Psi Omega (National Theatre Honor Society), and the university radio station 91.1 FM KTAI.

 Beyond the academic realm, Stacy is deeply engaged in supporting students in their personal and extracurricular pursuits. Whether providing career advice, assisting in navigating challenges, or celebrating achievements, she is dedicated to their holistic development. Stacy's ultimate goal is to shape individuals who are not only academically accomplished but also possess the resilience and adaptability required for success in today's dynamic world.

 Outside of campus commitments, Stacy enjoys spending quality time with her family, indulging in reading, and relishing in the world of musicals.
