The major research areas in the Environmental Engineering program includes: Air Quality, Water Quality, Solid and Hazardous Waste Management, Ecological Engineering, Environmental Informatics and Environmental Systems. The Environmental Engineering graduate program was recently ranked 69^th in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report.
