Outdoor Spaces


Below is a list of outdoor locations available for rent. These locations are scattered around campus, at different buildings and with different purposes.

The Mesquite Grove is an acre of space in the northwest portion of campus. Located next to one of the dorms, Mesquite Village West, this space has a stage with some lights and outlets to power various electronics, whether it be speakers, projectors, lights, or more. In front of the stage is large paved area with a ring of benches, outside of which is a large field. A restroom is on the corner of the field, with both Men's and Women's restrooms. The standard price for this space is $150.

Just outside the north entrance of the Memorial Student Union Building, the Pavilion has an octagonal overhand directly in the middle of it, with bench seats underneath. At request, tables and chairs can be placed along the edge of the Pavilion itself, or the large concrete area around it to interact with students as they pass through the central part of campus towards their classes, restaurants, or dorms. This space is useful for fundraising, outreach, recruitment, and any event that invites interaction and engagement with the public. Standard pricing for the MSUB Courtyard is $500.

Typically used for tailgates before home games, the lot spans approximately two acres of space. Events it could be used for include car shows, BBQs, small carnivals, concerts, and more. Standard pricing for the Tailgate Lot is $250.
