The aim of the Javelina STEM Labs is to provide STEM engagement opportunities to enhance high level critical thinking and problem solving skills in the science, technology, engineering, math and geoscience fields to first-generation, low-income or economically disadvantaged high school and undergraduate students. The Javelina STEM Labs is a collaborative partnership between the Office of Student Access and the Frank H Dotterweich College of Engineering.

STEM Educator Resources

The resources provided here are lesson plans that were created by the Javelina STEM Labs team which has been utilized in our classrooms with our students. This information is intended for Educators to assist them in the areas of Coding, Robotics, and Virtual Reality. Each lesson plan also has relatable Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills or TEKS Codes. If you are in need of technology resources for your classroom; the Javelina STEM Labs have Sphero Robotics and Oculus Quests available for teachers to reserve by completing the Reserve Technology Resources Form.
