Educational Opportunity Center
About
The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is made possible through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. EOC provides post-secondary education and training information and application assistance to low-income first generation adults who reside in the following counties: Jim Wells, Duval, Brooks, Kleberg and Nueces.
The purpose of EOC is to provide adults 19 years of age and older who have dropped out of school with information and services to return to a secondary or post-secondary education.
Services:
- Assistance in completing college admission applications (ApplyTexas.org)
- Assistance in completing financial aid applications (FAFSA)

Eligibility:
- Meet current income and first generation guidelines
- At least 19 years of age or less than 19 years of age and cannot be appropriately served by Talent Search Program
- U.S. Citizen
- U.S. Permanent Resident
- Military Veteran
