Dr. Galloway received her B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2005 and her DVM from Texas A&M University- College Station in 2009. She joined the faculty at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2019 as an Assistant Professor of the Professional Practice and took over as the Jo and Bruce Gunn Endowed Director of the Veterinary Technology program in 2023. Prior to joining the faculty at Texas A&M, she worked as a veterinarian in private practice for 10 years and spent time in small animal, equine, and emergency practice. In addition to providing care for the animals in the Vet Tech program, she also performs in-home hospice and euthanasia and is the consulting veterinarian for Edgar and Ivy’s Cat Sanctuary. She is an active member of multiple veterinary organizations and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Texas Veterinary Medical Association.
