Tiffany Pope


Instructional Veterinary Nurse II

Tiffany received her A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.  She completed her externship with the veterinary team at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo in Indiana.  Her internship with the Indianapolis Zoo in Indiana focused on the behavioral components involved with captive animals where she worked closely with the zoo’s white rhinoceros herd.  She continued on to receive a B.S. in Veterinary Technology from Purdue University in 2012.  Her work continued in the veterinary field as a Registered Veterinary Technician and canine obedience trainer in small animal practice.  In 2014 she started teaching veterinary technology courses at Harrison College in Indiana.

She joined the Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Technology staff in January 2016.  Tiffany is passionate about parasitology and pursued her M.S. in Range and Wildlife Management at TAMUK investigating Baylisascaris procyonis in South Texas in 2019.
